Explosion-proof solenoid valve is a kind of automation equipment specially designed for flammable and explosive media and explosive hazardous places, suitable for automatic switching of pipeline media in these places. It can be water, liquid or gas media level, concentration, flow, measurement or discharge cycle for automatic control, to achieve two-position switching, to ensure the safe operation of the system.
The explosion-proof solenoid valve is suitable for media temperature below 80 ° C stainless steel, sealing materials for NBR, EPDM, FKM (VITON) and PTFE, the pressure range of 0 to 1.0 MPa (0 to 150 PSI), 12V brass coil, diaphragm-type structure, and support OEM custom. The interface size is 2 inches and the warranty is 1 year. The working principle of direct-acting explosion-proof solenoid valve ：
Normally closed type: when energised, the solenoid coil generates sufficient electromagnetic force to lift the moving parts (such as core, stem, piston/seal, etc.) off the valve seat to open the solenoid valve; when energised, the spring force presses the moving parts onto the valve seat to close the solenoid valve.
Normally open type: the working principle is the opposite of the normally closed type, the moving parts are pressed onto the valve seat to close the solenoid valve when the supply voltage is applied, and the electromagnetic force lifts the moving parts to open the solenoid valve when the supply voltage is removed.
