The Stainless Steel Flange Pressure Reducing Valve is a pilot operated piston control device used to reduce and stabilise pressure in a system to ensure the safe operation of equipment and systems. It is designed for water, compressed air, neutral gases and non viscous liquids up to 95°C. The valve is mainly used on steam lines and is particularly suitable for environments with high and frequently changing flow rates and significant fluctuations in inlet pressure.

This pressure reducing valve has a pressure-balanced piston design with low start-up torque, enabling stable operation under fluctuating inlet pressures and flow rates, and regulating a higher inlet pressure to a constant lower outlet pressure. Its rotationally symmetrical guide design and annular cross-section ensure excellent operating performance. The valve body is made of micromachined bronze overlay, which is wear-resistant, corrosion-resistant and impermeable. Controlled operation is achieved by differential pressure of the medium itself, providing the required operating torque. Equipped with a double bearing weight lever to prevent the transfer of drop hammer forces to the valve bearings. The modular design of the drop hammer can be customised and adjusted to suit the operating conditions, making it suitable for a wide range of scenarios such as gas piping, steam piping and water supply piping.
